I am not that impressed with the Canon SX230 yet, after a month or so of use (2500+ photos). The stitching help feature is not that useful as it uses an extremely small part of the screen to work with, put at least locks the exposure for all the shots.

I bought this Canon SX230 HS to replace an older powershot camera. I got it for 2 main reasons. I wanted to use it in situations where I did not have my DSLR, and also wanted to take advantage of the build in GPS so I could geo-tag my photos. This is the best of the compact models Canon has launched so far this year. The camera itself is a upgrade over the SX210 IS.
