I was afraid to try this camera based on many reviews online about blurry pictures and focus problems - but decided to try it out myself because I loved the look and feel and feature set of this camera. I'm glad I did.

We have owned the S8100 before as it has produced amazingly sharps and low noise images. The S9100 seemed a natural progression due to higher zoom functions, but something has happened... With the same zoom settings as on the S8100, we are having problems producing sharp images, especially indoor.
