Product Review

There is a time in life for "boys" to become "men" and photographers take the next level via gear. That's certainly oversimplified and a better camera still doesn't necessarily make for a better picture, but better technology enables creativity under difficult conditions once the needed skills are.

In writing a review of this stunning camera, I don't want to offer you simply a repeat of all the technical details that you can read on a thousand websites including Canon's. I want to offer you my own thoughts as a neutral user of this product. If you're expecting complex charts and statistics,

This will be a short review as technical specs abound online. Mostly just want to sum up my experiences with this camera. First off let me say I've been an amateur for 30 years drifting in and out of the hobby over the years. Shot many different types of camera and finally went.

As a river guide in Moab, Utah, I have been privileged to play hard for my job, but was never able to capture those images into memories for fear of damaging a camera. Enter Olympus Stylus Tough 6020. With Waterproof features, built in instruction guide, 14 mega pixels, and proven durability

I got this to replace a previous Olympus Stylus Tough camera that I had lost during a river trip due to a poor knot and the lack of a floating attachment.

I bought this camera because I loved the design of it. Once I actually started using it I realized I cant live without it. I can take this camera anywhere it is great in all lighting and its a head turner I am always getting compliments

Nikon S9100 super-zoom pocket camera review.Nowadays many consumers are looking for small pocketable portable cameras that are extremely versatile. The Nikon CoolPix S9100 is one such camera. The S9100 comes with a 12.1 million pixel image sensor, an 18 X optical zoom with an equivalent optical.

I was afraid to try this camera based on many reviews online about blurry pictures and focus problems - but decided to try it out myself because I loved the look and feel and feature set of this camera. I'm glad I did.

We have owned the S8100 before as it has produced amazingly sharps and low noise images. The S9100 seemed a natural progression due to higher zoom functions, but something has happened... With the same zoom settings as on the S8100, we are having problems producing sharp images, especially indoor.

Product Review

As with most technology products, digital cameras are getting more capable and less expensive. Arguably, nowhere has it been more evident than in TVs and digital cameras. One of the most popular types of the digital cameras are so-called "mega-zoom" cameras. Mega-zoom cameras are the ones that have.

I wasn't ready for a DSLR, or at least wanted to go for a Super Zoom camera before I ventured into the DSLR world without spending as much money as one of the Kits in the 800-1000 range.

Here's my opinion on the good:
Solidly built, Controls are easily accessible, Outrageous 20X..

This is a great entry level professional camera for the photographers going from a point and shoot to a digital SLR. My first day out I could see an amazing difference in the quality of photos I was taking. On a hike at 0830 hrs, I took a picture of the still visible moon. I could make.

Product Review

I am not that impressed with the Canon SX230 yet, after a month or so of use (2500+ photos). The stitching help feature is not that useful as it uses an extremely small part of the screen to work with, put at least locks the exposure for all the shots.

I bought this Canon SX230 HS to replace an older powershot camera. I got it for 2 main reasons. I wanted to use it in situations where I did not have my DSLR, and also wanted to take advantage of the build in GPS so I could geo-tag my photos. The Canon SX230HS takes some great photos, particularly..

This is the best of the compact models Canon has launched so far this year. The camera itself is a upgrade over the SX210 IS.
